Edgepark Medical Supplies - Poor Customer Service
Opened an account prior to having to place orders to make a smooth transition but the experience was less than smooth. Once I placed an order there were additional needs that were required every day.
I explained that since so many days had gone by that we were running out of supplies and needed to be escalated. The representative apologized and agreed but nothing happened. Wrote to them using the contact form on their website but no response. Finally when it seems that the order will be placed a note appears on the account that they are awaiting doctor approval.
The note on the account said we didn't have to do anything, they would contact the doctor. I called my wife's doctor and nothing had been sent to them for approval and they had not been called. Another call to Edgepark and I find out that they have not verified our insurance yet either. This is now 4 days later.
Finally they called the doctor while I remained on the phone and said they would process the order. Then they sent me an email stating they still need the detailed written order from my wife's doctor.
Who knows what will happen. In the mean time I contacted the manufacturer who will send us some supplies to at least get us through the next few days and I've set up an account with another company.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
